Navigate to [Gaming] > [Price Predictions] and select a market in the live markets table
To place a bet on a price prediction market:
Select whether the price will end up below or above the target price set up for the market.
Select the amount of token you want to bet on.
Submit.
The amount you bet is boosted.
The boost multiplier follows a linear decay function, starting from X2 (when betting periods opens), to X1 (when bets are frozen). This way, early bettors get up to a X2 multiplier on their bets, while last-minute bettors have almost no boost.
The sooner you place the bet, the more the amount is boosted.
The boost increases user's share of rewards from losers bets.
For example, Alice bets 1 USDC with a X1.5 boost, she has a weighted bet amount of 1.5. When the prediction market is settled, there is a total of 420 USDC and a total weighted bet amount of 1000. If her bet is successful, she will receive:
